When should my puppy get their first groom?

The best age to start their first professional grooming appointments is 12 weeks. Your puppy will be groomed their whole life, it is so important to us that this starts as a comfortable and enriching experience for your puppy. We will be very attentive to your puppy, and may not get quite everything done on their first time if they exhibit any signs of stress. But remember that this is a long term process and keeping them comfortable as they learn to love being groomed is so important to us!

Is mobile grooming good for anxious dogs?

Yes! The sensory overwhelm is drastically reduced in a mobile setting. Your pooch knows they're close to home, they learn our work flow and gain confidence over time in the process. Inside the van it is quiet, warm and they are getting one on one attention from their groomer.

Do you groom my dog inside my home?

No, the entire service takes place in our state of the art grooming vans. Every once in a while we may need to plug into your home or fill up our water tank from your hose spigot but we do our best to stay self-sufficient. If you live in an apartment or home where you don’t have access to power or water that will not be an issue.

How do I tip my groomer?

All of our pricing includes tip and goes directly to your groomer on top of a commission. However if you would like to send them a little extra you can ask our secretary for a way to do this.

Do you do nails?

Yes, every single groom includes free nail trim and enzymatic dental treatment! No need to ask, we will take utmost care of your pooch.

Do you do teeth?

Yes, every single groom includes free nail trim and enzymatic dental treatment! No need to ask, we will take utmost care of your pooch. There are limitations within canine dental care in the state of Utah, so we do as much as we can whilst staying compliant.

What if my dog is aggressive?

There are some forms of aggression we are willing to work with, we are also open to working with dogs that need sedation. However, we typically don’t groom dogs that need to be muzzled as a safety precaution for our groomers. If your pup struggles with grooming we would love to create an individualized plan to help them be more comfortable and receive the grooming care they deserve.

Do I have to be home for the service?

We prefer that you are home for the beginning of the service so that your pup is most comfortable being handed off to us. Once the service begins you are free to leave and we are happy to slip your pooch safely back inside when they’re finished!
